Garmiyan lockdown mein khatam ho gai, aur tip, tip, tip… barish shuru ho gai! Indore got the much-needed spite from the sweltering heat as the city received a good amount of rain early Tuesday morning. Though some areas even witnessed waterlogging, most parts of the city and its adjoining areas woke up to a pleasant surprise.
According to the Meteorological Department, cold winds have started blowing due to changing weather patterns. There is an upper air cyclone in the Arabian Sea, and the southwest winds are running at a speed of 20 km/hr. Due to this, there is a lot of moisture in the air, which resulted in rains.
It’s expected the weather will remain cool for the rest of the day. Meteorological Department had predicted that moderate rain may occur in some areas of the state during the next 24 hours, and that monsoon may hit MP on time this year, which is around the second week of June.
Take out your gumboots, umbrellas, and windcheaters and get ready to enjoy chai at your favorite tapri with some garma garam pakodas. Waise bhi, lockdown jaldi khatam hone wala hai!
