The Madhya Pradesh Tourism has come up with luxury caravans for tourists interested in taking a much-needed break and exploring the state without compromising on social distancing norms.
These state-of-art luxury caravans are equipped with air conditioner, comfortable beds, television, fridge, cooking stove and gas, microwave, DVD player, locker, camping equipment, and a clean bathroom cum toilet. What’s more? These chauffeur driven caravans are spacious enough to accommodate your entire gang or immediate and extended family of at least 12 members.
The caravan is charged at Rs 60/km + GST. This is inclusive of fuel cost and a driver. For the night, there are two options: Either one can choose to stay in a hotel or spend the night in the caravan itself at Rs 3,000 per night.
The state has already opened doors of State Tourism Development Corporation-run hotels, resorts, and even several other private hotels at popular tourist destinations in the state. Boasting of 11 national parks, 24 wildlife sanctuaries, and 526 tigers, the state is all set to re-open gates of its national parks from June 15, 2020.
These decisions have been taken to promote domestic tourism, wherein tourists from across the country can spend some time in tranquility amidst the flora, fauna, and ample of beauty that nature has bestowed upon the state.
